subject Happy New Year!!!


Hey kiddos: My letter will have to wait until tomorrow morning. All of my immediate neighbors are partying, screaming, revving engines, setting off fireworks, etc. etc. It was not like this before , at least not since I've lived here. I sat down to write hours ago and BOOOOOOM! A door slammed so hard I jumped as my heart was in my throat. A few minutes later? Another door slammed so hard my windows rattled and I vibrated, lol. Then a girl is screaming as if she's being murdered when she isn't as when she stops screaming you hear her and her friends laughing. . It's like gunshots going off. I can't tolerate this; I can't think. I'm gonna tune out the noise by listening to music and so try to get some sleep. I do not mind noise, not even loud noise like the band practice next door as the kids next door have a band and every once in a great while hold a practice and this is an apartment complex but I can't take the normal noise level interrupted by such booming screams, shouts, door slams and fireworks explosions that I jump! Yikes!

Am I now the crotchety old lady neighbor we made fun of as kids?
